Learning Partner – Service Design & Innovation

A delivery-focused role leading workshops, progress reviews and EPA preparation to help apprentices turn learning into meaningful change in their roles.

About us

Estu is a fast-growing, mission-led training and workforce development partner helping organisations and individuals navigate change with confidence.

We design and deliver high-impact programmes spanning innovation, transformation, Al, leadership and workforce capability. Our work includes Apprenticeships, Skills Bootcamps and commercial programmes developed directly with employers and strategic partners.

This is an exciting moment to join Estu.

In 2026, we were recognised at the British Training Awards, scooping awards for the L&D Provider of the Year and Private Sector Training Initiative of the Year categories.

Our most recent Ofsted inspection provided further validation of the quality and impact of our work - with Estu achieving seven Strong-standard judgements across eight graded areas - currently the only independent training provider able to claim this.

We are guided by our values — Excellence, Simplicity, Transformative and User-centred — and are building on that foundation to develop new ways of helping organisations understand and improve the conditions in which their people work, collaborate and perform.

The Opportunity

The Learning Partner is a delivery-focused role, designed to strengthen the quality, consistency and applied impact of learning across Estu’s apprenticeship programmes.

Learning Partners are expert facilitators and practitioners. They spend most of their time co-facilitating seminars, leading workshops, webinars and applied learning sessions, and supporting apprentices to translate learning into meaningful change in their roles.

Working in close partnership with Skills Coaches and Tutors, Learning Partners form part of Estu’s layered delivery model — a learning ecosystem that combines:

  • Subject matter expertise
  • Apprenticeship and progression expertise
  • Applied learning, facilitation and practice.

In this role, you will lead apprentice progress reviews, deliver high-quality learning experiences, and help apprentices prepare confidently for their end-point assessment (EPA).

Key Responsibilities

Learning Delivery & Facilitation

  • Lead engaging, high-quality workshops, webinars and learning sessions across apprenticeship programmes.
  • Co-facilitate seminars and learning experiences alongside Tutors, bringing learning to life through discussion, practice and reflection.
  • Adapt delivery to different learner contexts, ensuring content is relevant, applied and grounded in real workplace challenges.
  • Support delivery across related formats (e.g. Bootcamps) where appropriate, flexing expertise as needed.

Applied Learning & Learner Experience

  • Support apprentices to apply learning directly within their roles, bridging theory and practice.
  • Act as a critical link between curriculum content and workplace application, helping learners test, refine and embed new skills.
  • Provide constructive, development-focused feedback that stretches learners and builds confidence.
  • Champion a high-quality, inclusive and engaging learning experience for every apprentice.

Progress Reviews & Learner Support

  • Lead apprentice progress reviews, ensuring meaningful reflection on development, application of learning and progress against goals.
  • Work closely with Skills Coaches to manage shared caseloads, flagging risks, opportunities and emerging learner needs.
  • Contribute to strong employer relationships by ensuring learning is visible, relevant and valuable in the workplace.
  • Support learner motivation, momentum and engagement throughout the programme.

EPA Preparation Support

  • Design and deliver mock end-point assessment activities and practice sessions.
  • Help apprentices understand assessment expectations and build confidence in demonstrating competence.
  • Work in tandem with Skills Coaches, who retain ownership of readiness decisions, gateway checks and formal sign-off.

Collaboration & Continuous Improvement

  • Collaborate closely with Tutors, Skills Coaches, Programme Managers and Learner Operations to ensure joined-up delivery.
  • Share insights from delivery and learner engagement to inform curriculum evolution and programme improvement.
  • Contribute to the ongoing development of Estu’s apprenticeship delivery model and applied learning approach.

About You

You are ambitious, thoughtful and professional. You exhibit great values and are eager to make a positive impact in a high-growth business. You will thrive in this role because you:

  • Are passionate about helping others translate knowledge into action and impact.
  • Thrive in collaborative environments and value working as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Are learner-centred, adaptable and energised by working with professionals at different career stages.

Experience & Knowledge

Essential

  • Significant professional experience in one or more of the following domains: Innovation; Service Design; Leadership & Change; AI and Automation.
  • A relevant qualification at Level 6 (degree level) or above in a related subject area.
  • Experience facilitating workshops, training or learning sessions for adult learners.
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to work with learners, employers and senior stakeholders.

Desirable

  • Experience working with apprenticeships or work-based learning programmes.
  • A recognised teaching or training qualification (e.g. AET/CET).
  • Familiarity with digital learning tools and virtual delivery platforms.
